About me
When people ask what I do, my answer is 'it depends on the day'. I subscribe to the idea that we are what we do, not what our job title says we are. So, with that in mind, I deliver a range of workshops and programmes, facilitate groups and discussions as a coach, and help organisations and companies using three decades of experience in business, education, and the arts to develop human potential and growth. My expertise is in Professional Development & Wellbeing. I believe that we learn by doing and that fundamentally ‘You have everything you need” to succeed. I want to help people thrive. I offer practical tools and techniques to overcome blocks that can ‘dis-able’ us in our professional and personal lives with humour and fun. I use what works for you.
My professional life started in the Theatre as a Stage Manager. I attended drama school training as an actress in London. I began directing and teaching as well as setting up my own theatre company. I was a Senior Lecturer and Course Director for 25 years at Rose Bruford College, a University Sector Drama School, gaining invaluable experience in HE. My growing passions and interests are working with and developing the potential in people. I went back to University to study psychology, counselling and social sciences. Later, I trained as a Coach, NLP Practitioner, Mediator and Mental Health Advocate. Transferring into the business and educational arena seemed a perfect fit for me.
Always keen to continue with my CPD and learning, I have an MSc in Social Sciences, a PGCE in Higher Education, a PG Dip in Integrative Counselling, as well as being an NLP Practitioner, an Acting, Speech and Dialogue Tutor, a Personal and Business Coach and a qualified Civil Mediator. I am a Certified Serious Play Facilitator and have experience running a company, working as a freelancer and as an employee. I have extensive experience working with individuals and with groups. I became a Certified PPA (Personal Profile Analysis- DISC) Practitioner with Thomas International, and I have been working as a Mental Health First Aider, helping colleges and organisations to embed mental fitness and resilience into the curriculum to support their careers. In 2025, I started studying the nervous system and somatic work and working alongside theatre companies and organisations as a wellbeing Practitioner.
My unique selling point is that I create supportive, trusting relationships with my clients, which allows me to challenge them to fulfil their potential.
Alongside my training, mediation and coaching work, I work as a freelance theatre director and deliver Artist Development into Drama Schools and colleges. In 2026, I co-founded the Association of Acting Coaches and Educators (AACE UK) in the UK with Alan Powell of Actor Care to provide education, support and community for acting teachers, coaches and educators working in professional training and industry
